
Coyote Hills Regional park is located on the eastern edge of San Francisco bay, just north of the Dumbarton Bridge.
The hills lie between a large area of marshland and a section of the bay that has been used for the production of salt.

The beige background is part of the bay as we look down from the top of one of the hills. The red hill trail has some very steep sections but has the advantage of letting you look down on birds flying below.

You often see hawks perching on the spires of rocks, looking over their domain...
The park also has a butterfly garden which is a great place to take kids, I think that I was 2 feet from 20 butterflies yesterday.
